Fellowship: Ashoka Fellows

Ashoka searches the world for leading social entrepreneurs and places them in a global fellowship program, with over 3,000 fellows in 70 countries. To be an Ashoka Fellow, you must demonstrate a strong commitment to bold new ideas and show that compassion, creativity, and collaboration are essential forces for change. To select fellows, Ashoka accepts and reviews nominations from either social entrepreneurs themselves or anyone familiar with their work. There are five criteria against which the nominees are evaluated: new idea, creativity, entrepreneurial quality, social impact of the idea, and ethical fiber. Following that evaluation, there are four other steps in the selection of the potential fellow.
